Renowned Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and her brother Michael G. Wilson have decided to transfer creative control to Amazon.
The duo took over the reins of Bond from their father, and for decades, they have meticulously managed nearly every facet of each Bond film—from casting choices to dialogue and stunts.
They had persistently battled to maintain it as a product exclusive to film.
However, that is no longer the case. A few years back, Amazon acquired the studio MGM, gaining a substantial interest in the Bond Franchise.
This decision opens the door for an abundance of bond-related content across various platforms, both large and small.
Brad Gilmour is a prominent figure in broadcasting and the author of “Bond, James Bond: Exploring the Shaken and Stirred History of Ian Fleming’s 007.” He had a conversation with Tom Melville from ABC NewsRadio.
