Good Charlotte is finally back in Australia! Twin brothers Joel & Benji Madden announce a massive 2026 tour, featuring a blockbuster regional show at Bendigo Racecourse.
The long drought for Australian pop-punk fans is officially over. Good Charlotte, the iconic US band fronted by twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden, has officially announced a massive return to Australia for their Motel Du Cap World Tour in February 2026.
Highlighting the limited run of arena-sized shows is a major, unexpected regional stop at the Bendigo Racecourse on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
This will mark the band’s first full Australian tour in nearly a decade, with their last appearance dating back to the 2018 Download Festival line-up. For a generation of fans, this tour—and particularly the landmark regional show—is an electric revival of the early 2000s anthems that defined a genre.
A Major Regional Blockbuster
The choice of Bendigo for a headline show has created significant buzz, underscoring a commitment to bringing major international acts to regional Victoria.
Supported by the Victorian government’s Regional Event Fund, the high-octane performance is expected to draw thousands of fans from across Australia, delivering a massive boost to the local economy.
“The Bendigo show is going to be massive,” a government representative noted, anticipating that the regional crowd will match the energy of the capital cities.
The concert is slated to be a powerhouse night of nostalgia, featuring era-defining hits like “The Anthem,” “Lifestyles of the Rich & the Famous,” “Little Things,” and “I Just Wanna Live.”
The Madden Brothers’ Return

Frontmen and music icons Joel and Benji Madden, who have spent the past several years focused on various successful business ventures, including their management company MDDN and the livestream platform Veeps, are now returning to the stage with renewed focus.
The tour comes on the heels of the release of their highly anticipated eighth studio album, ‘Motel Du Cap’, which dropped in August 2025. The new record—their first full-length effort in seven years—carries the classic Good Charlotte DNA with a matured, self-aware lens.
The album title itself is an inside joke, a tongue-in-cheek reference to the ultra-luxe Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France, where the band played an unexpected show that ultimately sparked the idea for a new album.
In a recent interview, Joel Madden spoke about the spirit of the comeback, saying, “Good Charlotte is something that we get to be totally free in. We want to make [every show] special and exciting… things that make people happy.”
