Keeping up with Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala appearances is never difficult.
That’s because the Kardashians star always makes her dramatic fashion debut on the first Monday in May, and this year is no different.
Wearing a tight, black leather dress by Chrome Hearts and matching black headpiece for the Met Gala 2025, Kim ascended the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 5.
With an abundance of Moussaieff diamond necklaces cascading down her breast over the off-the-shoulder dress and matching sparkling earrings, the 44-year-old once again outdid herself.
The mother of North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, went glam by wearing her long black hair in vintage waves.
The outfit was ideal for the Met Gala 2025 dress code, “Tailored for You,” and the theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
The Costume Institute’s most recent exhibition, which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, examines how Black males utilise fashion to “transform identities” and “imagine new ways of embodying political and social possibilities.”
