Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) showed their indigenous KX-2 drone.
The Bangladesh Air Force displayed their newly built KX-2 drone system on April 30 during the annual exercise named “Akash Bijoy 2025“.
In the video of Defence Technology of Bangladesh (DTB), one unit of KX-2 UAV was seen beside a MiG-29 inside a BAF hangar.
KX-2 UAVs are being produced in the Bangladesh Aeronautical Centre (BAC) situated in Bangladesh’s capital, Dhaka’s Kurmitola neighbourhood. This makes KX-2 the first Bangladesh-made military drone.
As per DTB, KX-2 drones can carry 60mm and 82mm mortar shells.
With the Forces Goal 2030, Bangladeshi armed forces are ramping up their military strategy, spending, and production. Recently Bangladesh added the French-made 3D radar system GM-403M.
