Seina Imamura becomes the third female JRA jockey to achieve 100 career wins.

On October 19th, in the third race at Niigata (3-year-old 1-win class), jockey Seina Imamura (trained by Ryo Terashima in Ritto) rode Inflore to first place, achieving her 100th JRA win.

She is the third female jockey to do so, following jockeys Nanako Fujita and Manami Nagashima. She urged his 12th favourite, Partner, hard into the final stretch to take the lead, then edged off the pursuers to secure a milestone victory.

Comune, the 17th favourite, came in second, creating a surprise with a payout of 317,570 yen for the double and 8,396,420 yen for the trifecta.
