Malaysian Actress and Singer Erissa Puteri Gets Married

Erissa Puteri Hashim, 22, an actress and singer who also stars in Ceria Popstar, is now officially the wife of her boyfriend, Muhamad Daniel Iskandar Zaidi, after their marriage was completed at 11 a.m. today.

Dr Adam Drahman, the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Affairs Department Marriage Registrar, married the pair, with Hashim Daud, Erissa’s father, serving as guardian.

“I am quite relieved. However, leaving my family is difficult because I am extremely attached to them as the youngest kid. As a result, a wide range of emotions emerged. Having a new family but not leaving the family, only being separated. He appeared to be sobbing but relieved. He was quite apprehensive sitting on the couch since we had no idea what would happen. Thank God, everyone is safe,” she stated.

Erissa Puteri also requested prayers for the well-being of her family, including her husband.

The couple’s wedding ceremony was attended by 200 people, including personal relatives and close friends from both sides, at a prominent hotel here.

At this ceremony, Erissa Puteri received 11 trays of presents and a dowry of 70 grams of gold. Her party returned with nine trays of gifts.

As a token of affection, the groom’s family gave Erissa Puteri a gold chain.

Erissa was also given a diamond necklace as a symbol of her new family’s togetherness and welcome.

Previously, the pair were engaged on January 5 after a year of dating. The reception will take place on April 25 at the same hotel.
