The Ukrainian delegation expressed a desire to persist with discussions alongside US President Donald Trump, even in light of the recent verbal altercation at the White House on Friday.

Trump was opposed to that, instructing his Secretary of State Marco Rubio and national security adviser Mike Waltz to inform Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team to vacate the premises, according to CNN.

The Ukrainians made their voices heard, yet were promptly dismissed.

They were requested to exit the room. “They were subsequently requested to vacate the premises,” remarked US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent during an interview with Fox News, as reported by AFP.

Bessent was in attendance at the Oval Office during the discussion.

Zelenskyy was seen departing the White House in a black vehicle, subsequently calling off his scheduled address at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.
