Princess Kate is embracing the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a touch of green.

The Princess of Wales, aged 43, participated in the parade of the Irish Guards at Wellington Barracks in London to commemorate the holiday Monday.

Adorned in a coordinated ensemble of forest green, featuring a beret, coat, and scarf, the look was elegantly enhanced by a gold pin shaped like a three-leaf clover. In a delightful display, Kate was seen enjoying a beer and graciously posed for photographs alongside the Irish Guard.

Kate was absent from the annual event of the army regiment last year, which occurred just days before she disclosed her cancer diagnosis to the public. In March of last year, Kate was scheduled to begin a regimen of preventative chemotherapy.

Her treatment concluded in September, with the princess conveying in a video shared on social media at that time: “My journey towards healing and complete recovery is lengthy, and I must approach each day as it arrives.”

In January, she revealed that her cancer was in remission following a visit to the hospital where she received treatment.

“I am relieved to be in remission and remain focused on my recovery,” the Princess of Wales stated in a social media post on January 14. “Those who have faced a cancer diagnosis will understand that it requires time to acclimatize to a new reality.” I am, however, quite eager for a rewarding year ahead. There is a great deal to anticipate. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to all for your unwavering support.

Kate serves as the honorary Colonel of the foot guard regiment, where she presents the guards with a St. Patrick’s Day shamrock, which also includes the Guards’ Irish wolfhound mascot, Turlough Mor. The role was once occupied by her spouse, Prince William.

This past year has marked a notable resurgence for the princess, as she participated in her inaugural Commonwealth Day service earlier this month since 2023. It marked the return of King Charles III to the Commonwealth Day service. He was absent in 2024 as he was also fighting cancer.
