US ACTRESS ANNIE WERSCHING DIES AT 45

 ANNIE WERSCHING has appeared in a number of television shows, including 24, Star Trek: Enterprise, and The Vampire Diaries. She also provided the voice and facial characteristics for the character Theresa “Tess” Servopoulos in the critically acclaimed video game The Last of Us. Annie Wersching, a well-known American actress, has died of cancer. She was 45 years old at the time.

Annie Wersching, an American actress, died on Sunday (January 29) at the age of 45. CNN in the United States reported this, citing her husband Stephen Full and her publicist Craig Schneider. “There is a great hole in this family’s spirit, but they left us the resources to fill it,” Stephen Full said in a brief statement, according to the broadcaster. Cancer, which was diagnosed in 2020, was reported as the reason of death. The specific form of cancer was not disclosed.

Annie Wersching was born in 1977 and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She has appeared in a number of television programs. At the beginning of her career she played in “Star Trek: Enterprise”, “Boston Legal” or “Supernatural”. She then took on the character of Amelia Joffe on “General Hospital” and, from 2009, the primary role of FBI agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of the popular series “24”. Appearances in “Bosch,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “Runaways,” and “The Rookie” followed. Annie Wersching most recently appeared as the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard’s second season.

In the blockbuster video game The Last of Us, Annie Wersching provided the voice and facial characteristics for the character Theresa “Tess” Servopoulos.

Several colleagues and former friends, including Jon Cassar, director and producer of the series “24,” fellow actor Kiefer Sutherland, and Neil Druckmann, creator of “The Last of Us,” have expressed their sorrow at the actress’s passing.

“Today we lost a wonderful soul, a friend, a great talent, and the best mother and wife,” Jon Cassar wrote. Annie Wersching, you left your imprint and will be missed. This is my favorite image of the many I’ve been to produced throughout our time together at “24”.
