The Puebla dancer known as “Medio Metro de El Alto” ​​was found dead in a ravine in San Sebastián de Aparicio, Puebla.

On Monday morning, October 20, 2025, Puebla authorities responded to the San Sebastián de Aparicio auxiliary district, north of the capital, after a body was discovered in a ravine.

The body belonged to a short guy recognised by family friends and colleagues as Francisco “Pancho” Pérez, also known in the Puebla sound scene as “Medio Metro de El Alto”.

According to initial accounts, the deceased had apparent head injuries and traces of violence. Witnesses suggested that it had been tossed into the canal where it was discovered.

The Puebla State Attorney General’s Office has launched an investigation to identify the cause of death and the circumstances of the discovery.

Members of Grupo Super T, the group with which the dancer collaborated, publicly confirmed his death.

The artist’s family also identified the body, allowing authorities to continue the legal proceedings and transport it to the amphitheatre for the required autopsy.

To date, the Prosecutor’s Office has not issued an official statement detailing the exact cause of death.

Press reports indicate that the investigation is considering a possible homicide, although an accident has not been ruled out.

The person found in Puebla is not the dancer known nationally for his involvement with Sonido Pirata, originally from León, Guanajuato.

The deceased is identified as “Medio Metro de El Alto”, a member of Puebla’s local sound circuit, with frequent performances in traditional neighbourhoods like El Alto and Analco.

Both share the same nickname but belong to different and unrelated projects.
