While Jennifer Aniston is at home, an elderly guy crashes into her Los Angeles property.
According to authorities and several media sites, an older man was taken into custody on Monday afternoon after breaking through the front gates of actress Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air residence.
At around 12:20 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department informed KTLA that they had received a complaint about a burglary suspect in the 900 block of Airole Way.
According to TMZ, Aniston was at home when the suspect—who was only described as a Caucasian man in his 70s—drove through her gated fence, giving the actress a serious scare.
According to the LAPD, until officers came, the individual was restrained in a prone position by a security guard on the site.
Aniston’s home security team reportedly hurried over and threatened the driver with a revolver until the LAPD arrived, according to TMZ. The individual was taken into custody by police without any problems.
Around 4 p.m., Sky5 visited the actress’s house to check for damage. Gil Leyvas of KTLA reported that the front gate’s retractable arm was broken off and lying on the ground behind the gate. The gate was observed manually opening and shutting when Sky5 flew overhead.
Additional details on the suspect and the burglary call were not disclosed by the police.
