Yoo Joo-eun, a well-known actress in South Korea, passed away on Monday (August 29) at the age of 27. The Chosun News, which is one of the most prominent news outlets in South Korea, was the one to publish the information. The artist rose to prominence after making appearances in many popular Korean television dramas, including “Big Forest” and “Joseon Survival Period.”


The actress’ elder brother revealed the news of her sister’s passing through a message on the artist’s various social networking sites. After then, the account was made inactive. “On the 29th of August, 2022, Joo-eun departed from this location and traveled to a more pleasant one. According to Chosun News, he reportedly wrote, “If you have time, please venerate Joo-eun while you are on your way.”


Additionally, a letter that Yoo had written was included in the post, and Yoo’s brother had uploaded it in accordance with the intentions of the actress. The last message left by Yoo started with her expressing regret to her loved ones and expressing gratitude for the assistance she had received.


“I’ve always had an interest in performing. It’s possible that it was all for me, or at least a significant portion of it. However, the conclusion that can be drawn is that the career was very challenging. It was so agonizing that I didn’t want to do anything else,” Yoo wrote. The publication reports that the wake for the actress will take place on August 31 in the city of Suwon, which is located in South Korea.
