The Wolverine and The Greatest Showman star revealed the development during a media appearance, noting that his lifelong affinity for the “Canaries” stems from familial roots in East Anglia, with his mother originally hailing from Norwich.
From Boyhood Supporter to Potential Boardroom Investor
Jackman’s connection to the Norfolk club runs deep. Long before achieving global cinematic fame, his mother introduced him to English football, taking him to experience matches live at Carrow Road as a teenager.
Interestingly, this is not the first time the Australian actor has been approached regarding club shares. Back in 2010, Jackman was invited to invest as a celebrity minority shareholder but turned the opportunity down, a decision he later joked was among his worst judgment calls as the club subsequently enjoyed strong sporting campaigns.

“I’m very, very interested — and talking about it right now,” Jackman told broadcasters.“You’re the first one to know that. There’s a little exclusive.”
