China-Bangladesh trade and economic cooperation have advanced significantly in recent years. For 15 years running, China has been Bangladesh’s biggest commercial partner.
More than 550,000 jobs have been created by the almost 1,000 Chinese businesses that are now active in the nation.
CMG’s Zou Yun spoke with Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the Bangladeshi Interim Government, in this episode of Leaders Talk. Yunus was in China from March 26 to 29, visiting Beijing and attending the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 in Hainan.
Professor Yunus stated that his nation has profited from cooperation with China and that he anticipates a new phase in the two countries’ relationship. Yunus, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for establishing the Grameen Bank and developing the ideas of microcredit and microfinance, said, “China is an inspiration for the whole world.”
