Emiliano Aguilar has issued a new and stern warning to Pepe Aguilar over the ongoing family strife.
“Just to tell you, day four, the photo I shared is not being removed and will not be removed. I’m wearing them here, unlike that family. My mother did not raise a coward, but the other side did,” he stated on her Instagram stories.
The rapper referred to an Instagram snapshot with his father, stepmother, and stepbrothers that featured the face of “El Gordo”—his father’s pet. This was in retaliation to a ridicule they had indirectly directed at him hours before.
An modified photograph of the canine was shared on ‘El Gordo’s’ official Instagram account. Emiliano recorded various innuendos against Pepe Aguilar, Ángela Aguilar, and Christian Nodal.
After the story broke out on social media, ‘El Gordo’ issued an apology.
“I’d want to apologise for the post I made, which clearly angered several members of my family. “The recent post on this account was in poor taste and did not reflect the upbringing my father provided for me, nor does it represent what this account seeks to share,” it states.
And he continues: “I got angry seeing my brother speak badly of my other siblings over and over again… and my dad. I told myself, ‘If he can do it, I can do it too.’ And that’s where I was wrong because by doing the same thing that hurts me when he does it, I became the very thing I criticize.”
The photo in question was deleted and Emiliano Aguilar rejected the apology.
“Why did you delete the photo of the dog insulting me? You’re so fucking stupid. We’re definitely different,” the rapper responded on Instagram.
The exact origin of the conflict between father and son is still unknown; however, it is known that the rapper lashed out at his father because he “spoke badly” about his mother.
“I’m going to be honest, I’m not here to lie. Everything I’m saying right now, everything that’s happening, is because you spoke badly of my mom. I mean, how are you going to say that she took all of her things in the car? How are you going to say that they left you with nothing from Mexico City to Tijuana, that they emptied your house?” he said.
And he continued: “Everything I’m doing right now is because of that, because I’m not going to let anyone disrespect my mom. I said, ‘I’m never going to talk about my dad because he’s never disrespected me,’ until he did that interview talking badly about my mom.”
Emiliano cited an interview in which Pepe Aguilar said that the rapper’s mother, Carmen Treviño, abandoned him on the street after their separation.
