Six games, six home wins—that is the record thus far in the second division season. Can FCK snap the streak today in Hanover? Coach Lieberknecht will rely on Ivan Prtajin and Mahir Emreli up front for the away win in Hanover.
The lineup for the opening game was, as usual, the biggest mystery this week. Torsten Lieberknecht stated on Friday that he already had ten roles in mind, but declined to divulge any specifics.
Now it’s clear: Prtajin and Emreli will launch an attack. Daniel Hanslik, last year’s leading scorer, will start on the bench, as will centre-back Jisoo Kim. Fabian Kunze, Semih Sahin, and Marlon Ritter will comprise the centre of the midfield.
Today, the Niedersachsenstadion is nearly packed out, with over 46,000 spectators.
Many supporters have come from Lautern and the neighbouring region, and others have already arrived in the away section.
FCK lineup at a glance:
Krahl – Elvedi, Sirch, Gyamfi—Asta, Kunze, Sahin, Redondo – Ritter – Emreli, Prtajin // Substitute bench: Simoni, Kim, Haas, Kleinhansl, Aremu, Robinson, Raschl, Tachie, Hanslik
