Angela Aguilar’s first solo tour in the US is experiencing low ticket sales, as seen by social media feedback.
Angela Aguilar announced a few weeks ago the start of her first solo tour, the “Libre Corazón Tour,” which would feature 17 performances in the United States.
It will run from October 24 to December 13, 2025, stopping in cities like Chicago, San Antonio, Houston, Denver, and Las Vegas.
The news was made on social media, where she also stated that she will contribute one dollar for each ticket sold and admittance into the meet-and-greet sessions to the National Day Labourers Network (NDLON), a nonprofit that helps immigrant labourers in the United States.
Aguilar’s decision to launch her tour solely in the United States sparked a backlash on social media, with several users expressing dismay at the lack of dates in Mexico, a country with which the singer maintains strong family and artistic ties.
At the same time, criticism has emerged towards the artist, whom some Internet users have pointed out for linking her tour to the immigration issue, which they consider a strategy to attract an audience.
Despite the high expectations surrounding this tour, the public response has been muted. A few weeks after sales began, users on platforms like TikTok and media outlets shared images of empty seating charts showing considerable ticket availability at several venues.
On the first date, scheduled for Newark, New Jersey, most sections have plenty of available seats, especially in mid-priced areas, although lower-priced locations and those closest to the stage show higher demand.
Similar situations have occurred in cities like Reading, Pennsylvania; Houston; and San Antonio, where most seats remain unoccupied.
In Chicago, the lower-cost sections have already sold out, but there remains ample availability in other areas of the arena, especially those with higher prices.
Seats closer to the stage account for the majority of sales in cities such as El Paso and Denver, but the total number of available seats remains significant.
So yet, none of the shows on the “Libre Corazón Tour” have sold out, raising suspicions about Ángela Aguilar’s genuine size of attendance on this maiden solo effort in the United States.
