John Stamos may have lost the love of his life to a comedy hunk, but the path to greatness was still open to him.
The actor from "Full House" is going into detail about the end of his marriage to Teri Copley in his new biography "If You Would Have Told Me." The "We Got It Made" star has been accused of cheating on Stamos with actor Tony Danza, according to Stamos.
When Stamos returned from a tour involving auto show appearances and playing with the cover band Papa Doo Run Run, the actress he had been smitten with had started to give him the cold shoulder, despite his obvious feelings for her.
Stamos went to his girlfriend's residence out of worry after she had stopped responding to his texts. Stamos saw a vehicle in Copley's driveway when he arrived to his house.
With my heart sinking, I trudge to the vehicle and have a peek inside. There's a toothbrush, keys, boxing gloves, and a poster of my girlfriend that's half unrolled and she's barely covered by a white sheet," Stamos adds. To quote, "I've never seen this poster before."
Stamos proceeded to the guesthouse of the "Brain Donors" actress after he was locked out of Copley's main home on both the front and back. There, he discovered "four feet protruding from the shabby-chic, floral print duvet that once kept me warm." When asked by Copley who he was with, Stamos referred to the guy as "Mr. Porsche Speedster" after the classic convertible car in the driveway.
Stamos writes, "My heart is beating out of my chest." My head is whirling, and my thoughts are frantic. The thought of vomiting all over her white shag carpet makes me feel sick. This is the stuff of nightmares.

Stamos looked at the poster of Copley that was inside the Porsche one more time before leaving Copley's house. The poster was autographed by Copley, who wrote, "My Dear Tony, I'll love you forever."
Stamos claims he finally figured out who Copley's girlfriend was while listening to Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" on the way home. As I hum along to "Hold me closer, Tony Danza," I understand that he is the name of my adversary.
