Marianne Howard, Dayman's former co-star on E Street, broke the news on social media with a tribute, saying, "Rest in Peace, lovely Les Dayman. During my time watching E Street, I never could have asked for a greater on-screen father figure.
She said, "Your magnificent eyes always reminded me of my dad's eyes, therefore it was so nice to portray your daughter. Also, an interesting fact: our birthdays are one and the same!
Rose, Dayman's wife of 62 years, and their sons Nicholas and Timothy (from Dayman's marriage to Diane Chamberlain) are all that remain of Dayman's family.
