With almost 3,000 attendees, this year also broke the previous attendance record, making the Simmental Beer Festival one of the biggest beer events in Switzerland.

Visitors came from all across Switzerland because of the striking Simmental mountain scenery, the local beer, and bands like DABU FANTASTIC and CHLYKLASS.
At the festival, 5000 litres of beer were sold. Fun fact: More than 400 pieces of Obbligato Simmental cream were also consumed.
There have never been as many visitors from the Zurich region and the surrounding area at the Simmental Beer Festival as there were in the 7th edition of the festival thanks to the special offer for free visits by owners of one Zurich Open Air ticket.
From September 6 to 8, 2024, will mark the next Simmental Beer Festival. The brewery will also be commemorating its tenth birthday at the same time.
The renowned brewery Simmentaler Beer is devoted to the skill of creating artisan beers. Since 2014, it has been well-known throughout Switzerland, and most recently, it was crowned the country's most popular microbrewery for the fifth time in a row. There is just one small brewery in Switzerland that has a CO2 recovery system, and that is Simmental.
