When the crown prince pair, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Prince Sverre Magnus attended the Stavern Festival earlier in July, things did not go quite as planned. Guards halted Ingrid Alexandra (19) and Prince Sverre Magnus (17) as they attempted to enter a VIP area of the festival.

Due of their ages, the guards denied Sverre Magnus and Ingrid Alexandra admission to the VIP section. To enter the area, you must be at least 20 years old. Se og Hr claims that the guards were aware that Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus are both under the age of twenty.

Se og Hr asserts that there is a strict age restriction for access to the region. Even when accompanied by adults, people under the age of 20 are not permitted to access the area.

Despite the strict age restriction, the royal siblings were finally permitted to settle in the region with Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit. Following a conversation between the guards and bodyguards from the Royal Police Escort, it took place.

The two teens were permitted entry into the VIP section for security concerns, according to Nettavisen, who also claims that the Norwegian Police Security Service (PST) has confirmed the sequence of events to Se og Hr.
