Mission Impossible 7 Review

Tom Cruise's character Ethan Hunt is back on another "mission impossible" to try to save the globe and perhaps the whole human race. The scope, scope, and epicness of "Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning - Part 1" prevented filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie from concluding his narrative in a single film. Ethan's mission has lasted more than two and a half hours, yet it is still ongoing even if it has placed his result on track.

'The Entity', the AI villain from 'Mission Impossible 7'

The seventh entry in the "Mission Impossible" series uses the hunt for the two halves of a key needed to operate "The Entity," a self-aware artificial intelligence program, as a pretext to tie together its action sequences.

The secret organization IMF (Impossible Mission Force) assigns Ethan the mission of locating the two parts of the key and delivering it to the government of China as all the global powers compete to own the AI, the most potent weapon they could envision. The Entity must be eliminated, but Ethan struggles against this choice because he realizes it is too final.

The opponents of Ethan Hunt and his dependable companions Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg), and Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames) stretch beyond just their own government and other foreign powers.

The Entity uses human operatives to stop Ethan Hunt from hitting the off button, including the villainous Gabriel (Esai Morales), an old foe from Ethan Hunt's past, and the lethal Paris (Pom Klementieff, Mantis in Marvel's MCU). A skilled thief, Grace (Hayley Atwell), is hired by the "white widow" Alanna Mitsopolis (Vanessa Kirby, who will appear in "Oppenheimer") to obtain the key and sell it to the highest bidder.

The exact algorithm foresees that, after killing Ilsa in the film's conclusion, Gabriel would board the Orient Express with the key. And it's there that Ethan, Grace (who ends up being an ally), the White Widow, Gabriel, Paris, and covert American government operatives meet.

Most Horrific Scenes

Ethan has to jump off a mountain ridge in what they call "the biggest stunt ever. " the story," since the actor actually throws himself into the void with his motorcycle without any protection aside from a parachute. Grace infiltrates the train by posing as the White Widow thanks to one of the saga's signature camouflage masks.

Gabriel manages to get the key in the middle of the mayhem. Following a fantastic combat sequence on top of the train, Ethan must decide whether to execute him for killing Ilsa or to keep him alive in order to learn how the key works. Gabriel ultimately succeeds in escaping, but Ethan steals the key without the bad guy knowing.

The bad news is that the train is speeding headlong into a bridge loaded with explosives that are set to go off in its route without using its brakes.

Ethan and Grace have to race against time to climb up numerous railway cars that are hanging vertically over the collapsed bridge in order to save the passengers at the last second by unhitching the locomotive car.

Paris, who has been gravely hurt by Gabriel, steps in to save Ethan and Grace from imminent death. She tells Ethan that the key to stopping her is the Sebastopol, a Russian submarine that The Entity wrecked at the beginning of the movie.

How the story will continue in 'Mission Impossible 8'

The desired key and perhaps the tools to combat The Entity are in the hands of Ethan and his comrades. Gabriel is still missing, though, and The Entity's influence is only increasing. Grace is currently reliant on the CIA enrolling her in the IMF program. To counteract the impacts of the AI on his technology, Luther, for his part, vanishes at the end of the movie to live in full isolation from everyone and everything.

The narrative will be wrapped up in 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning - Part 2' ('Mission Impossible 8'), which is set to debut on June 28, 2024.
