Mourning for Josephine Chaplin, who died on July 13 at the age of 74 in Paris. The French newspaper "Le Figaro" published this, citing the deceased's family. Josephine Chaplin, 88, was one of Charlie Chaplin's eleven children and a renowned actress herself. Her three sons, Charly, Julien, and Arthur, are saddened "to have to announce her death," according to the statement.


Josephine Chaplin, the second daughter of Charlie Chaplin and Oona O'Neill, was born in March 1949 in Santa Monica, California. She was the fourth wife of the British actor. Josephine Chaplin appeared in the film "Limelight" (1952), directed by her father, when she was a tiny kid.


In 1972, she co-starred in "Pasolini's Daredevil Stories" with Hugh Griffith, 67, and Laura Betti, 77. The film "Jack the Ripper - Der Dirnenmörder von London" (1974) starred Klaus Kinski, 65, and Andreas Mannkopff, 76. She was last seen in "Hemingway," a four-part TV movie in 1987.


Josephine Chaplin had three marriages. Each marriage produced one kid. She had spent a long time in France, where she had now closed her eyes forever. The family will attend the funeral in Paris.
