Google Street View has added fresh photos from Germany for the first time in 12 years. Now, one may virtually visit the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg or Kurfürstendamm in Berlin.

Street View photos from Germany have returned after a 12-year updating hiatus. Google, a search engine business, today released virtual panoramas of the streets and attractions in 20 German towns. There are now more locations of Germany that were previously hidden from Google Street View.

The images are from the previous year. But from June through October, the trucks were back on the road, escorted by workers carrying camera backpacks and taking pictures while walking. However, Google does not produce any movies; instead, at a distance of a few meters, the cameras on the trucks produce high-resolution 3D panoramic photos.

Users may virtually move around the street since they are connected digitally. Street signs and storefront writing are also captured by the nine cameras in total. The faces of onlookers and license plates are automatically pixilated.

Popular streets have been accessible online since the morning, including Berlin's Kurfürstendamm. It is now feasible to take virtual visits to places like Berlin's City Palace or Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie.

When Google first launched Street View in Germany in 2010, it ran into opposition from regulators in charge of data protection, lawmakers, and property owners. At the time, about a million people protested the recordings. The photographs of these homes and other items have to be pixilated by Google. The group ceased following gunfire across Germany in 2011.

Even now, Google is required to obfuscate fresh photographs of each apartment and home before release if residents or property owners request it.

The appropriate applications must be submitted once again.Open the "Google Maps" app, then the "Street View" layer, if you wish to use Google Street View. Which places are accessible in "Street View" are shown on the maps in blue.
