According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias was on a plane that had to make an emergency landing in North Carolina.
According to deputies, just before 1 p.m. (Local Time) on Friday, local emergency personnel reacted to an aircraft that had run off the end of the runway at Western Carolina Regional Airport.
According to deputies, the plane, a 1987 Gulfstream N924MB, had difficulty coming to a halt for an unexplained cause and skidded 600 feet off the end of the runway.
One of the plane's passengers was prominent national comedian Gabriel 'Fluffy' Iglesias, who documented his experience and revealed the accident scene on his Instagram feed.
Valleytown Fire and Rescue reported no injuries, and the collision will be examined further by numerous organizations, including the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
