On Tuesday, July 25, Caroline Receveur revealed on Instagram that she had breast cancer. The YouTuber with 5 million subscribers shared various images and videos of herself getting her hair cut and being admitted to the hospital.
She discusses receiving her second round of chemotherapy in a lengthy statement and claims to feel "empty." I lost my appetite and some of my zest for life.
Her "aggressive" cancer was found to be "at an early stage" two months ago. Caroline Receveur had kept her community in the dark up to that point about her condition.
She says, "I believed I could keep 'this secret', but I can't any longer. I ultimately feel cut off from the rest of the world by this intended loneliness, which makes my everyday existence heavier.
The 35-year-old mother of a little son claims to be "in good hands" and to be doing well. "I am full of confidence, surrounded by the people I love, and my body and mind are already wired for recovery. Enjoy! Life is brief and unpredictably unexpected, she says.
