Haley Odlozil, a 30 year old TikTok star who documented her cancer battle for millions of users, died yesterday.
Haley Odlozil, who gathered a massive following on TikTok while chronicling her battle with Stage IIIC ovarian cancer, passed away at the age of 30.
On Friday, her husband Taylor posted on Tiktok and Instagram that she had passed away.
He posted a photo of the couple with their 4-year-old son, Weston, with the caption, "It is with unbelievable sadness that I tell all of you my sweet Haley has passed away," on Instagram. "Myself and our entire family are going through so much agony and anguish that I am at a loss for words. I had no idea that my heart could actually hurt.
Before her passing, the disease, which had been battling her for eight years, had spread to other bodily areas.
The pair posted videos of their travels on TikTok, where they amassed a combined following of more than 2.5 million users.
Taylor would make a post on his TikTok account every few days, starting each caption with the date and the phrase "Haley is still fighting."
He delivered a different message on Friday.
"I have observed every second as the wife's husband. both the joyful and the sorrowful. He said beneath a video that gained 2.1 million likes, "One thing I can tell you is that she suffered terribly battling this sickness that slowly tore her body apart over the previous 8 years. "I'm so overwhelmingly sad I can't be there to see it, but I'm so incredibly happy for her to be completely healed in a body with no pain & no scars in heaven."
Haley turned 30 in February and the pair had been together for 16 years.
Taylor said goodbye to his wife in his message on Friday."Haley, you are loved. more than I am able to express. I will always love you because you are a vital component of who I am. I'm eager to meet you once more, he wrote.
With his son, Taylor said he won't be posting on social media "for a while" as they absorb Haley's passing.
