Matthias Reim, a German Schlager musician, has claimed that he quit smoking for his daughter Zoe, who was born in 2022.

The artist, 65, stated that he wanted to be a better role model for his youngest kid and that he was committed to give her a good start in life.
"I've been smoking for over 40 years," Reim said to OK! magazine. "However, when Zoe was born, I knew I needed to make a change." I didn't want her to believe smoking was normal as she grew up."
Reim said that quitting smoking was one of the most difficult things he'd ever done, but that it was well worth it for Zoe. "She's my little ray of sunshine," he described her. "I would do anything for her."
Fans and coworkers have commended Reim's determination to quit smoking. "I'm so proud of him," his wife, Christin Stark, remarked. "He's a wonderful father and a great role model for all of us."
