They've been married for almost 10 years, but Karoline Herfurth has just recently appeared with her spouse. Both have a lengthy history of professional collaboration.

Karoline Herfurth had a great day on June 14: she was given the prestigious Ernst Lubitsch Prize. An award presented yearly for the finest humorous performance in German film, previously granted to Gert Fröbe, Heinz Rühmann, Loriot, Mario Adorf, Anke Engelke, Bjarne Mädel, and most recently Christoph Maria Herbst.

June 14 must have been a significant day for Christopher Doll, too, because it was the first time the film producer was formally recognized as Herfurth's spouse after more than 10 years of marriage. Both had attended the event together, and the sought-after actress ("Fuck ju Göhte", "Das Parfum") addressed the producer ("Traumfrauen") in her remarks.

It was her husband's first public statement of love. Amazingly, the couple has been married for almost 10 years and has two children together.

It's rather amazing that the 39-year-old was managed to keep her private life hidden for so long. Particularly given that both spouses work in the film business. And they've already collaborated on multiple occasions: Herfurth is not just an actor, but also a director. Her spouse produced three of her four films - "SMS für dich", "Sweethearths", and most recently "Einfach malwas Schönes" - on his own. His film production business Hellinger / Doll also oversaw her fourth picture, "Wonderful."

The public committment at the Ernst Lubitsch Prize was only the start. Karoline Herfurth and Christopher Doll have been spotted together several times since then. The two walked the red carpet at the Zoo Palast in Berlin for the premiere of "Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny" last Thursday.

In addition, the two will expand their professional collaboration: According to the "Bild," Herfurth just made her directorial debut as the starring actor in front of the camera. The working title "One Million Minutes" is set to enter theaters in early 2024. At the very least, we may expect to see the two on the red carpet again.
