Cavill has played the title character Geralt of Rivia from the beginning of the series, and his interpretation of the character has astonished fans of the game. For all following seasons, he will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth. Furthermore, the series' creators have stated that the switch from Cavill to Hemsworth will remain loyal to the novels.
