New date for the September Prato è Spettacolo festival: Alan Sorrenti will play with his "Band Exotica" on September 12 at 21 at Villa Guicciardini.

It will be a profound and emotional journey through the Neapolitan singer-songwriter's career, from the brightest moments of the past to the present, with songs from his latest album "Beyond the safe area," released in October for Ala Bianca and distributed by Warner Music, performed live for the first time.

This is the concluding event of the Tutto è vita Autumn Fest, which is co-organized by Settembre Prato è Spettacolo. The evening's revenues will be donated exclusively to Borgo Tutto è Vita, a place of meditation and hope for people who are suffering.

Tickets can be purchased through Ticketone

Stefano Ceri, the demiurge of Italian street pop, will join Alan Sorrenti in this new recording adventure, able to paint the new songs of Sorrenti with his Italian touch balanced between songwriting and dance floor. A CD full of intricacies that touches all of Alan Sorrenti's historical periods, makes you dance and move, shines with light, and takes the listener in a kaleidoscope of colors that begins in the 1970s and continues into the future.

Following Alan Sorrenti's performance at the MI AMI Festival, which celebrated his return during the summer of 2022, introducing his music to new generations, we can finally listen to his new album of unreleased songs, which Alan Sorrenti describes as "a record that pays great attention to the contents." The need to create a new album derives from a desire to pass on my soul to future generations: I don't pretend to point the way, but rather to convey my tale, question myself, and evolve myself via music. When I create and play, it is I who sees and transforms via the music.

The album's tracks reflect this: there's "Youth Forever," but also "Shipwrecked in Flames," "Beyond the safe zone," and "Pura Vida," which was inspired by a recent trip to Costa Rica and is a hymn to actually living again. Then there's "Oggi," which deals with the tough topicality we're dealing with in my own manner, through my melodies." "Beyond the safe zone" is a celestial trip that follows the voice of Alan Sorrenti to bring light into the Italian song.
