On May 18, Thomas Gottschalk, a 73-year-old veteran of the entertainment industry, turned 73. He should do it at a huge event with lots of people and enjoy a drop in the audience, given his star status.
but not at all. The moderator, who has a true cult following in Germany, demonstrated on Instagram that he relaxed on his special day. And he evidently just need two things for a perfect evening: a delectable burger and his companion, Karina Mroß (61).
Because he posted photos of a birthday supper he had at a popular New York bar and grill restaurant, captioned, "Another birthday with a burger at JG Melon," on his Instagram. In any event, it is clear from his radiant smile in the recordings we show you in the film that he thoroughly enjoyed the supper with his special someone. Who knows, there may even be a significant "break" in the future. In any event, his Instagram followers congratulate him and, of course, wish him well.
The entertainment scene in Germany would not be complete without Thomas Gottschalk. When he took over for Frank Elster (81) as moderator of "Wetten, dass...?," in 1987, he finally achieved fame. He was once again tasked with the show's 2021 revival.
But even before then, he sparked excitement among his followers: in 1985, he co-hosted the "B3 radio show" with another legendary presenter, Günther Jauch (66), and before that, he was the host of the radio program "Pop nach Acht."
In TV forms, Jauch and Gottschalk frequently appear together since they are still close friends. Along with Mike Krüger (71), who he previously collaborated with on the film series "Die Supernase," the 73-year-old is also back in the public eye. The two recently relaunched their joint podcast. Additionally, it appears that the fans like it as well. The outstanding and lengthy career of Thomas Gottschalk is far from over.
