Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum is a member of the United Arab Emirates' royal family. She is the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, his second wife.

Mahra was born in 1994 in Dubai. She attended a private school in Dubai for her elementary education before moving to London to attend the American University in Dubai. In 2016, she earned a degree in International Relations.


Mahra began working as a humanitarian activist after graduating. She founded the Mahra Foundation, which strives to enhance the lives of children and women in the United Arab Emirates. She is also a United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Goodwill Ambassador.


Mahra is an outspoken supporter of women's and children's rights. She has spoken out against child marriage and domestic abuse. She has also campaigned to raise awareness about the significance of girls' education.
