Stars such as Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Nicole Kidman paid tribute to the late German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld at the New York Metropolitan Museum. The dress code required Lagerfeld-designed or evocative clothing. Caro Daur, a German influencer, was also on the invitation list and dressed to the nines.

The 28-year-old Hamburg native posted her evening attire with her admirers on Instagram, which included a black bustier, a black panty, and fishnet tights below. A black and white bow, white high heels, and a matching Chanel purse completed the look. The influencer even had her toes painted black.

Her followers are enthralled by her clothing. "What you go through! A fan, for example, says, "So good!" "Always breathtaking," another says. Another emphasizes Caro Daur's eyes.

The Met Gala, which debuted in 1948, is often regarded as the most important fashion event of the year. For a long time, the host has been Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, who has cult status in the fashion world. Self-invited attendees were required to pay $50,000 (€45,000) for the dinner, an increase from $35,000 in 2022. The minimum charge for a patron who desired a complete table for himself and his companions was $300,000.

On Monday evening, dozens of celebrities, including the pregnant Rihanna and her partner, the rapper A$AP Rocky, Paris Hilton, and Kim, walked down a beige, red, and blue carpet that had been laid out over the front steps of the famous museum on Central Park in Manhattan. Kardashian, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Roger Federer, Penélope Cruz, Dua Lipa, Cardi B, Billie Eilish, Anne Hathaway, and Kate Moss were among those who attended.

The "Met Gala" is traditionally held on the first Monday of May. The proceeds will support the museum's fashion section, which will dedicate its annual exhibition to late fashion emperor Karl Lagerfeld in 2023. The exhibition will feature over 150 pieces and sketches by the German fashion designer with the gray braid and black spectacles.
