In Parma, the Mediterranean Escapes International Vintage Cars organization holds a stage of the Carovana Romantica vintage automobile rally.
The appointment in the city is set for Thursday, May 25, under the auspices of the Municipality.
It is a tourist and non-competitive event, presently in its 38th year, accessible to the participation of antique automobiles of exceptional prestige produced between 1918 and 1969, such as Bentley, Lagonda, Mercedes, Jaguar, Austin Healey, and Alfa Romeo.
The event is primarily aimed at foreign collectors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England, the United States, and the Netherlands, and proposes a travel itinerary of approximately 800/900 km in 7/8 days in the Italian regions to discover the most important historical, cultural, landscape, and folklore through itineraries on particularly suggestive and panoramic roads.
The rally has 30 vehicles. Participants will enter the city at 10 a.m. and position themselves within the Paganini Auditorium car park until 1.30 p.m., when they will depart escorted by a municipal police patrol until they exit the city.
The Duchess of Parma Rally, a vintage vehicle event hosted by the Automoto d'Epoca Parmense Ruote a Raggi club, is also set for Sunday, May 28.
