The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina has accused the United States of targeting her administration with the latest RAB sanctions and said that they (USA) want her to be removed from the administration.
In a recent BBC interview, Prime Minister Hasina stated that the US is prejudiced against her administration and that the sanctions are an attempt to disrupt Bangladesh's power structure. She also stated that the US has refused to extradite one of Bangladesh's founding father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's murderers. According to Sheikh Hasina, the US is side with human rights offenders rather than victims.
