The next edition of Playboy will have Marlène Schiappa on the cover. The lovely magazine had approached a former colleague of hers in the administration, Roselyne Bachelot, before the Secretary of State in charge of the Social and Solidarity Economy.

Roselyne Bachelot as a Playboy? That is something that may have occurred. Jean-Christophe Florentin, the delightful magazine's editor, confirmed this on Tuesday, April 4. "I proposed to Roselyne Bachelot three months ago, and she refused," he told France Info's microphone. She was "Playboy compatible," she wanted to converse, and we could have come up with an amusing topic.

If the former Cultural Minister from 2020 to 2022 denied Playboy's offer, Marlène Schiappa accepted. This Thursday, April 6, the number with the Secretary of State in charge of the Social and Solidarity Economy will be issued.

Jean-Christophe Florentin gets to go behind the scenes of this "global buzz," as he describes it. He therefore revealed that Marlène Schiappa had answered yes "practically" right away, "quite weirdly." The magazine then created "an assemblage of images expressing our influences; we even imagined placing her in Marianne, with a breast outside."

The publisher, on the other hand, claimed that the Secretary of State posed "not entirely naked, but in pretty erotic, really startling postures," noting that the images already circulated in some media are not those that will appear in Thursday's edition.

Ultimately, the editor of the magazine defined the requirements for "Playboy friendly" political personalities. He describes himself as "someone bold, who must be 'excellent looking' (beautiful), and whom people want to see."
