Yesterday, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a number of royal commands, the most notable of which was the appointment of Salman bin Youssef bin Ali Al-Dosari as Minister of Communication.

After this news, Al-Dosari expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. Bin Abdulaziz, and elevated poems of thanks and gratitude for this royal trust via his official Twitter account.


"I raise the highest verses of thanks and gratitude to my Lord, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Highness, the Crown Prince - may God protect them - on the occasion of the precious royal trust in my appointment as Minister of Information, and I hope that the Almighty God will help me to perform the national mission with all honesty and competence," read the tweet.

Who is Salman Al-Dosari?

Salman Al-Dosari began making steady steps in the field of journalism after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Management and Economics, to join the work as a collaborating reporter in Al-Iqtisad newspaper, where he held the position of editor-in-chief in 2011, and "Al-Dosari" was able to engrave his name strongly in Al-Sharq newspaper during his prominent journalistic career. During his time at Al-Awsat, he held many editorial posts until becoming Editor-in-Chief for the Middle East, alongside Al-Majalla magazine.


Yet, as he stated in Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, "Al-Dosari" succeeded over his two-decade journalistic journey in documenting events of immense resonance and publishing major press interviews with decision-makers around the world. He has a noticeable presence on discussion shows, whether on television or radio, and Al-Dossary is now the Saudi Minister of Information.
