Livia Brito had a ten-year relationship with Colombian Danny Frank that was filled with abuse owing to the musician's drinking. He coerced her into having intercourse.
Due to her partner's illness, the actress ensured that the singer would visit at dawn to compel her to have sex, so she chose to place nails in her chamber door, which did not deter him.
"Danny would arrive at six a.m. extremely inebriated and desperate to make love. He came to the brink of raping me because I was exhausted. I'd hammer nails into the door to keep him out."
In an interview with Yordi Rosado, she stated that these assaults took place when she was working as an aide-de-camp while learning to be an actor in Mexico.
Danny Frank also cheated on her several times with other individuals, not to mention disparaging her physical looks by comparing her to other women's bodies.
"'You're worthless for an ass, you don't know how to cook, you're useless for nothing,' he said. That was a process of intense psychological assault, and I had no idea how to get out of it." -Livia.
He mentioned that he was able to rent his own apartment only after he had enough money. He denies ever filing a complaint about the injustices perpetrated.
