The new-wave veterans have released the first video from their upcoming album, which is set to be released on March 24.
Will Andrew Fletcher's shadow loom over Depeche Mode's upcoming album? The untimely loss of its co-founder and keyboardist last May called into question the future of this iconic new-wave band. Despite being down to its hard core of Martin L. Gore and Dave Gahan, the British ensemble has announced the release of their fifteenth album, Memento Mori, on March 24.

The eerie clip of this piece, directed by their loyal Anton Corbijn, follows the two musicians in the middle of graves and spirits in a game of chess with a Faustian conclusion. Continued later.
