The burden of duty may be crushing. Seems really hefty at times. And it is not former French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe who will claim the contrary. His body appeared to have been entirely changed. "A simple narrative of hair" according to the major interested party.

On the BFMTV set on Thursday evening, the former leader of the French government answered without a hitch to his recent sickness. "I lost my eyebrows and I don't think they will come back. My beard has become white and is beginning to fall off. My hair is also going off. I don't know if the mustache will return; I would be shocked. "I have a condition known as alopecia," he explained.

Alopecia is a rapid loss of hair and/or body hair. It is often caused by a reduction in hormones (mostly dihydrotestosterone and epitestosterone), although stress can also be a role.

This is what the former occupant of Matignon said: stress could “ perhaps ” be the cause of his illness. “Do I have a stressful life? I confirm it to you. Obviously you get stressed when you have responsibilities,” he said.

However, Édouard Philippe regrets that this change in look has taken up so much room in the media. "I would have preferred, even hoped, that it was not a topic. "However, I must state that there are many good-faith individuals who look at me, observe this, and raise questions," said Le Havre's current mayor.

But it's simply a "hair tale" to him, and it doesn't upset him at all. "I don't think it will be a hindrance to the remainder of my political career," he remarked. " The French might be inquisitive and asking about what is going on. I'm not going to waste my time discussing it either. It's another hair issue. "It's OK," he says.

"I'm in great shape," he said. “That doesn't stop me from being extremely ambitious for my city. That doesn't stop me from being extremely ambitious for my country ,” he concluded.
