Chloé Gilgenmann, 33, left her house on Monday, February 20, to begin work as a cook at the Les Saules nursing home. Around 9:24 a.m., she emerges on foot in surveillance camera photos from a nearby street (rue Barbe). Four minutes later, an alarm at the institution is silenced, indicating that the young woman has entered the establishment. Nevertheless, when the young trainee summons her to come and unlock the door for her a quarter-hour later, Chloe does not respond. Her things, including her handbag and phone, are still present, but the young woman has vanished.

The young woman's husband is heard, but he does not comprehend. Chloe, who may have had depressed periods in the past, showed no signs of distress before to her abduction. The Roman investigators, for their part, conducted investigation with a dog within the Ehpad; the animal rationally sensed that it had traveled through the premises, but it was unable to locate any track surrounding the edifice. The Romans police station sought the assistance of the gendarmerie helicopter on Monday, February 27, a week to the day after Chloé's disappearance, in order to go and explore the environs, particularly the banks of the Isère, in search of the child.

The Rome authorities are also looking for witnesses. Chloé Gilgenmann stands 1.75m tall, with medium-length blond hair, and a nose piercing. She was wearing a black coat, a gray sweater, and light sneakers on the day she went missing. If you believe you have seen Chloé, call the Romans police judicial support group at 04 75 70 85 21.
