Carcassonne XIII signs agreement with Pôle emploi

The Carcassonne XIII maintains their pursuit of greatness. It just formed a relationship with Pôle emploi. "The club is growing and becoming more structured," says Rémi Bertrand, one of the co-presidents. "Our purpose is to assist young individuals in their search for training or work, as well as older persons in their post-career development." Another co-president, Jol Berger, added: "It adds another string to our bow. It improves the club's appeal."

Annes Combès, the director of Pôle emploi Carcassonne, applauds this effort and quickly replied positively to pleas from Carcassonne XIII. "In another place, I was met with a heartbroken athlete who came to visit us after a catastrophic injury, because his professional career had suddenly ended abruptly after he had staked all on rugby." Pôle emploi agrees to be a privileged interlocutor with the Carcassonne treizists within the terms of this agreement. "We have a contact list and a network that can lead to career opportunities or training programs. This applies to both young players and elderly players who are beginning to consider retraining."

"This will help us to further strengthen our relationship with the players," says Jol Berger. Rémi Bertrand finds in this collaboration Carcassonne XIII's intention to "help its players" off the field. "Pôle emploi is a government service. Aside from its institutional function, it also advises and monitors specific audiences."
