Fortnite is well-known for translating recognizable faces into skins. It's now the turn of The Witcher's famed monster hunter!
It was only a matter of time until Geralt got dragged into Fortnite's vibrant Battle Royale universe, wasn't it?
With the release of Chapter 4 on December 4, 2022, not only will a whole new gaming world be revealed (after the previous map was gloriously ripped to shreds in the end of Chapter 3: Shattered), but also several new skins.
Fortnite has typically cooperated with a wide range of brands, including comic book hero Deadpool, DJ Marshmello, anime ninja Naruto, Demogorgon from Stranger Things, and a seemingly infinite number of other pop culture icons.
In the new trailer for Chapter 4, game fans in particular will notice three skins in particular:
*Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher
*Hulk from the Marvel Comics
*Doomslayer from the Doom games
Can you spot them all in the trailer?
How to unlock Geralt in Fortnite Chapter 4?
The Witcher attire, of course, is the sticking point for the refined RPG aficionado. However, how can you obtain the costume? To play as Geralt, the iconic White Wolf, you'll need the new Fortnite Chapter 4 Battle Pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks as normal.
However, just progressing through the Battle Pass levels will not unlock Geralt! The protagonist of The Witcher is concealed behind a challenge that begins on day 65 of the season.
In layman's terms, this implies that from February 7, 2023, you can accept and complete the related quest if you have the Battle Pass. The actual nature of the mission is unknown, but prior jobs for secret Battle Pass skins were quite basic and did not necessitate an extravagant grind.
The following items belong to the Geralt set in Fortnite:
*Geralt of Rivia (Outfit)
*Witcher's Steel Sword (Harvesting Tool)
*Weapons of The Witcher (Back Bling)
*Geralt of Rivia (loading screen)
*Igni Sign (Emote)
*Muscle Memory (Spray)
With a little patience, you can anticipate the complete Witcher experience on Fortnite, including Geralt's trademark twin swords.
Oh, and while we're at it (and in case you missed it): The Witcher 3's next-gen version will be released in December and will, among other things, tweak a gameplay element that many have already discovered!
