The 74-year-old actor died early Wednesday morning December 21. The artist participated in various triumphs on TV Globo, including the soap operas 'Vale Tudo' and 'A Indomada' and the funny 'TV Pirata'.
The funeral for actor Pedro Paulo Rangel will take place this Thursday (22) at Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro. The public is invited to attend the goodbye ceremony, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Following the wake, the cremation will take place in the Cemitério da Penitência in Caju, Port Area. Friends and relatives will be excluded from this event.
The 74-year-old artist died on Wednesday night (21). Pedro Paulo has been hospitalized to the CTI of Casa de Sade So José in Rio's South Zone since November 30th to address a decompensation of pulmonary emphysema. Respiratory failure was the cause of death.

Career of Pedro Paulo Rangel
Pedro Paulo Marques Rangel, born on June 29, 1948, in Rio de Janeiro, was a resident of Rio Comprido, in the city's North Zone, when he had his first experience with the theater at the age of 11. Fascinated by the finding, he decided to pursue a career as an actor. At the time, he composed "When Parents Go On Vacation" as a play to perform.
Later, he met actor Marco Nanini in the theatrical company at Igreja de Santa Terezinha, with whom he would study at the National Conservatory of Theater, now the Theater School of the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Unirio).
Pedro Paulo made his professional theatrical debut in 1968, in Chico Buarque's drama "Roda Viva," directed by José Celso Martinez Corrêa.
After going through TV Tupi in São Paulo, the actor debuted on TV Globo in 1972, in the soap opera "Bicho do Mato". In "Gabriela," his first successful role was Juca Viana. Pedro Paulo played the first male nudist on television in a scenario in which the pair Juca and Chiquinha (Cidinha Millan) were tossed on the street after being found in bed.
Pedro Paulo returned to TV Globo after working on various theatrical plays and films in the 1970s and early 1980s, including "Menino do Rio" (1982).
Jô Soares invited the actor to engage in sketches on the satirical show "Viva o Gordo" (1982). He was happy with the outcome, and he was invited to join the cast of the second season of "TV Pirata" (1988).
Pedro Paulo Rangel, the gay Adamastor from "Pedra sobre Pedra," began a new role in 1992. He later directed the soap operas "O Mapa da Mina" (1993) and "A Indomada" (1997), as well as the miniseries "Engraçadinha".
