Héctor, the protagonist of Una Navidad no tan padre, even collaborated with his son Sergio in the production of the staging Almacenados, which would be in theaters in October and November; however, Héctor was involved in a "light accident," which injured his already injured left leg, which his son Fernando had to replace.

What are the symptoms of kidney cancer, the condition suffered by Héctor Bonilla
Héctor Bonilla was diagnosed with cancer in his right kidney at the end of 2018 and began treatment straight away.
Since revealing his diagnosis, the actor has stated that it may be tough to combat the type of cancer he has because there is no chemotherapy, but he felt well, as is typical with this diagnosis.
And, according to the Mayo Clinic, kidney cancer has no symptoms in its early stages, but with time, the following symptoms emerge:
*Pain in the back or side
*Loss of appetite
*Fatigue
*Fever
*Blood in the urine
*Swelling in ankles and/or legs
It should be noted that these symptoms are not limited to cancer patients; they can also indicate other types of kidney or urinary tract diseases.
When this cancer spreads to other regions of the body, it can produce symptoms including shortness of breath, coughing up blood, and bone discomfort.
Why Héctor Bonilla was not treated with chemotherapy
Kidney cancer can be difficult to treat depending on the stage at which it is diagnosed, as well as the person's reaction to the early therapies, which can be targeted therapy (drugs intended to kill cancer cells), immunotherapy, or both.
Furthermore, according to the American Cancer Society, kidney cancer cells do not often react to chemotherapy.
Furthermore, the causes of this form of cancer are still unclear, despite hereditary factors, cigarette use, and obesity.
As a consequence, Héctor began with a four-month therapy, then halted to assess the outcomes and tried others.
According to his son Sergio and Héctor himself, the previous therapy he took produced great effects, so they were optimistic.
“Testamento”: Héctor Bonilla recorded an emotional song about his death
After the Ministry of Culture announced on November 25 that the first actor, Héctor Bonilla, had died at the age of 83, his youngest son, dramatist Fernando Bonilla, issued a message on social media.
He mentioned that his father died quietly and surrounded by his closest circle following a four-year battle with renal cancer.
Furthermore, he shared an emotional video of "Testamento," a song that Héctor has been working on since 2004, in which he interprets a poetic piece in the style of the old trova with his characteristic thick voice, to say goodbye to his family, friends, and the general public; all accompanied by a series of photographs of his 55-year-old self.
In the clip, which has a period of 06:35 minutes and is available on YouTube, Bonilla names his wife, three children, and two grandkids, because the offspring increased owing to the temporality.
"Well, my three children, I narrate everything that has been lived in the past, what has been endured, what has been enjoyed" / "It is the moment, so many clues of the dead overwhelm me, even my images are of pure death" are some stanzas that may be heard.
