The Russian nuclear-powered submarine K-329 Belgorod is now operating in the Arctic seas, which is causing an increase in tension in those waters. The alarming hypothesis is that the Russian submarine is on its way to conduct a test of the Poseidon missile, which has the capacity to deliver nuclear warheads over a distance of ten thousand kilometers. This information originates from a report put out by NATO, which states that the Alliance is on high alert and is keeping track of every potential launch of missiles from the submarine.

With a length of 184 meters and a width of 15 meters, the Belgorod has the ability to travel over the ocean at a speed of around sixty kilometers per hour and has nearly unrestricted autonomy. It is thought that it can remain submerged for a period of one hundred and twenty days without emerging. In the last several days, it has been brought up in the analyses on the suspected sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline, although there is no proof to support this claim. According to information from several international media outlets, the NATO organization has a hunch that the submarine intends to participate in Operation Poseidon in the Kara Sea region. A missile with a length of 24 meters that is capable of delivering an atomic warhead, most likely of two megatons in yield and given the code name "Status-6." The  missile was intended to detonate in close proximity to the coastline, resulting in the creation of a "radioactive tsunami."

According to the Russian embassy in Rome, which was cited by the Tass news agency, Sergei Razov, the Russian ambassador to Italy, will be called in for questioning tomorrow at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic. The meeting will begin at eleven in the morning tomorrow.
