Queen Elizabeth II was the longest-serving monarch in Europe

Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom held the title of longest-reigning queen in Europe. Over the last several months, the Queen has been experiencing a number of different health difficulties. A couple of months ago, when they were celebrating her 70th jubilee, she only participated in the festivities to a small extent. As the condition of their mother continued to worsen, the Queen's four children, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward, flew to Scotland to be with her.

Four days of celebrations for the 70th throne jubilee

Queen Elizabeth II - Monarch with iron discipline

There doesn't seem to be much that could genuinely rile up Queen Elizabeth II. Her guiding principle is to "sit it out" and "maintain your calm," which she applies to a wide variety of situations, including criticism of the monarchy, a stranger in the royal bedchamber, and family issues. And the Queen of England is used to it all. Elizabeth has weathered several crises throughout her many years on the throne, always seeming perfectly put together in her outfit, complete with a matching cap, and maintaining a calm face. The controversies that the queen has to deal with most of the time are not her own, but rather those that involve members of her family. The fact that she always seems to be calm, at least on the surface, is not in the least due to the fact that she has such strict discipline.

Crown Princess after Edward VIII's abdication

On April 21, 1926, Elizabeth Alexandra Mary became the Princess of York. At the time of her birth, very few people anticipated that she would one day become Queen of Great Britain. Elizabeth is now only third in line to the throne since her grandpa, George V, is still reigning. Following her father's death in 1936, her uncle, Edward, Prince of Wales, took his rightful place atop the British monarchy. However, he was only king for a little over a year until he abdicated for the love of an American lady. When King George V's successor, George VI, ascends the throne, Elizabeth, her father's oldest daughter, is immediately elevated to the position of Crown Princess. A life lived in the spotlight starts.

She then delivers a radio speech in which she affirms her commitment to serving the Commonwealth, which is the federation that now comprises the countries that were once part of the British Empire.

Magnificent coronation in 1953

The death of her father, George, on February 6, 1952, led to her being anointed as Queen of the United Kingdom. According to some with knowledge of the situation, the day she became queen is still directly associated with the passing of her cherished father. She avoids making any public appearances and stays at her country estate at Sandringham, which is located in East England, so that she may observe the anniversary of her ascension to the throne in peace.

One year later, on June 2, 1953, she was crowned Queen at Westminster Abbey, which is located in London. Elizabeth is certain that the crowning event should be shown on television. The beginning of a conflicted connection with various forms of media. There will be very little Elizabeth in private from from point on, since the Queen will always be followed by cameras everywhere she goes. Elizabeth rapidly became aware of the negative aspects of her new role, which included the fact that the royal family's private life was being brought into the public eye and that scandals were commonplace. However, the Queen wouldn't be the Queen that she is now if she hadn't confronted every controversy that included her family members with the same level of fortitude, whether it be infidelity, divorce, or disagreements. Prince Philip, your spouse, will never leave your side.

Married to childhood sweetheart Philip

When Elizabeth was only a little girl of 13, she went to the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, where she ended up meeting the man who would become her lifelong partner. At the period in question, Philip is 18 years old and a cadet at the Royal Naval Academy. The successor to Queen Elizabeth II is secured

The continuity of the Windsor family line is not something that the Queen has to be concerned about. After that, subsequent generations produced more "strong branches." Prince Charles has, for a very long time, been in the running to replace Queen Elizabeth II on the throne. Over the course of time, she delegated an increasing number of responsibilities to her son, who was on hold. In addition, her grandson Prince William and his wife Kate often attended meetings on Elizabeth's behalf as her representatives.

And the fact that it really took place is still incomprehensible,"

"Even if her grandkids had believed her, no one would have believed that she was capable of doing it. On the other hand, you can never be sure what liberties elderly ladies give themselves "The journalist is quoted as saying. The Queen's more laid-back demeanor is reflected in the fact that she requested and received a mobile phone from her grandkids as a means of enhancing her ability to stay in touch with them. Seelmann-Eggebert adds, "As a mother she was never like that, but as a grandmother she is." "She wants to be close to her grandkids," she says. "As a mother she was never like that." New strife within the royal family is being caused by Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, who are now known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In the spring of 2020, the couple will withdraw from the royal family - and after the "Megxit" they will move to the USA with their son Archie. During an interview that she gave to the presenter of the talk program Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle leveled allegations of racism against the British royal family. According to a statement sent by the royal household, the Queen takes the claims "extremely seriously." More information, as is common with Elizabeth, does not make its way to the general public. Even more severe are the charges that have been made against Prince Andrew, who has been embroiled in a sexual misconduct controversy that probably amounts to a settlement outside of court.

Death of Prince Philip and 96th birthday

Her husband, Prince Philip, who had only recently retired from his royal obligations at the age of 95 in 2017, was by her side at all times. More than 73 years have passed since Elizabeth and Philip's wedding, making theirs the longest-lasting marriage of any British royal pair in history.
