Christian Hummer, who served as a keyboardist for the Austrian band Wanda for many years, has passed away. The news of the guitarist's passing was shared by his four bandmates on the official Instagram and Facebook sites of the band on Monday evening. The musician had been battling a protracted and debilitating illness. The upsetting information was shared with fans only four days before to the release of Wanda's newest studio album.


It has been 10 years since the formation of the indie rock band Wanda, who are best known for songs such as "Bologna" and "Bussi Baby." Since that time, the band has established themselves as one of the most well-known groups to come out of Austria in Germany and Switzerland.


Regarding Hummer's passing, the band said in a statement that "There are no words that can do justice to this loss." Christian was a nice guy who also had a lot of musical talent. Because of his passion for music and his dedication to other people, he was very lovable.
