The popular performer travelled to Paraguay to deliver a performance as part of the Asunción Festival, but things did not go well.
Doja Cat made waves on social media a few days ago when she arrived in Argentina for the long-awaited new edition of Lollapalooza. Popular musician travelled to Paraguay to perform at Asunción Festival, but things didn't go smoothly.
Due to the severe weather that battered the nation on Tuesday, March 22nd, Doja's presentation had to be postponed. However, this was not the reason why his fan base swelled in the media. Despite the rain, some of the American's fans chose to wait for her outside the hotel where she was staying to meet her, snap photographs, and have a brief conversation, but they were unable to help her realise her purpose.
A private gathering in which "she did not allow anybody to talk to her or look her in the eye" sparked accusations of apathy from her followers, who said she had left the nation without even saying goodbye. There were multiple tweets from Ella doja in which she slammed the claims and described the situation extremely angrily:
The performance was cancelled due to bad weather in Paraguay. The next morning, when I went to check out of the hotel, no one was waiting for me at the door.
As a result of her words, Twitter users established the hashtag #DojaCatIsOverParty. After deciding that "this garbage is not for me, therefore I'm retiring," the singer deleted her tweets and put a stop to the dispute. "Take care of yourself and your loved ones.".
